Removable blankets are typical for applications to 1500ºF for shapes subject to periodic maintenance or removal, OR just to save the time and hassle of insulating the old fashion way. (NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CONDENSATION CONTROL) Typical uses are pumps, valves, PRVs, turbine exhausts, tanks, heat exchangers, blowers, platens, ID and FD fans. (A layer of mass loaded vinyl makes these a great acoustic solution). Removable blankets are manufactured from field measurements or your drawings or prints.
